CONFERENCE THEME

To orient delegates in the giant galaxy of smart and sustainable planning, the main theme of SSPCR 2019 – supporting the ‘transposition’ of research into practice and visionary approaches into (planning) policies and tools – is articulated into six thematic tracks, each investigating specific topics. The final aim is to provide participants with a comprehensive overview of recent and original work in the field and to build up shared knowledge among researchers, professionals, decision makers and civil society.

Even though SSPCR 2019 is organized around six thematic tracks, the Scientific Committee highly encourage an interdisciplinary approach and the submission of trans-silo proposals tackling complex nexus issues. ​International or demonstration projects are warmly invited to disseminate their innovative approaches, implemented activities and achieved results.
